The Roman Thimble

Reproduction of a thimble found on the site of the ROMAN city of VERULAMIUM (St. Albans) and reproduced by kind permission of the Verulamium Museum where it is on display. The Original thimble was cast in bronze with the pounce marks punched in afterwards.

Please note this is a reproduction cast in pewter and bronze plated.

Height approx 14mm. Comes carefully packaged.
