Lomonosov Porcelain was founded in 1744 by Peter the Great's daughter Empress Elizabeth. The Cobalt blue and gold net pattern on the thimble was inspired by the luxurious dining sets of Catherine the Great (1729-1796) The thimble is in the unusual shape of a Russian helmet and has the Lomonosov back stamp, it is truly a high quality luxurious item.
